For this large-scale job, I was one of two on-set Visual Effects supervisors for the five-day shoot, and lead the CG department in the creation of a number of visual effects, some which were used in the spot and a handful more which ended up getting cut from the edit, including a floating asteroid, a space-nebula shockwave, and an underwater school of fish in a seaweed-filled lake bottom with a volumetric shadow growing through the reeds.

We did however end up creating a fully CG underwater ocean cave grotto environment with bubbles to integrate with a live action diver, and a galactic backplate with reflections for a glass astronaut helmet.
